Nikki ( A lady with the heart of Gold)

Love sometimes drives us crazy and alot of us gets unnecessarily emotional about it. Instead of using our brains sometimes, we use our heart and we end up wounded. I can't forget the story of Nikki and Jay who met each others at area1 bridge 2018. According to Jay, he saw an irresistible angel walking in his direction. He was contemplating on whether to walk up to her or not but as destiny will have it, they entered the same car going towards Nasarawa State. Just like every first  meeting between a boy and a girl, their is always a force of repulsion. Jay couldn’t say a word until he was about getting to his own junction. He then realised that he may never have a second chance of meeting this angel walking on land again, he struggled and manager to overcome the opposition within him and asked for Nikki’s contact number, although Nikki was already sleeping in the car, he manage to make her stable in other to get her contact. About 5minutes later, Jay dropped while Nikki continued her journey.  Later that same day, Jay ranged Nikki and they chatted for about 10minute trying to know each others. It was there Jay knew that Nikki was a student of the college of education Akuanga in Nasarawa State.
Gradually, They started getting along, but of course every relationship has it’s own up and down and this was the case at some point. Jay feels he calls Nikki more which Nikki doesn’t replicate. Every time he raised the matter, Nikki was always fast to say am sorry. But the situation didn’t change.
Gradually they started exchanging gifts between themselves, sending each others recharge card and money, both of them willing to help one another. The only issue between them was communication, Jay kept complaining of Nikki not calling him or even sending him a text message. At some point, Jay got tired and stopped complaining, he only calls when he thinks it’s convenient for him. Despite the drop in the call rate of Jay, Nikki never complained. It was at this junction that Jay felt definitely Nikki has another guy somewhere who is taking more of her attention. Shortly before February 14th, Nikki told a friend of Jay to please help beg Jay that she loves him so much that she was only over burden by school work load. Jay didn’t believe his friend when he said your woman say make I beg you to be patience with her that she was facing academic stress until he saw the screenshot of their conversation. It was then Jay realised he had been misjudging Nikki.
To further prove Jay wrong, Nikki suddenly called Jay that she was coming over to celebrate valentines day with her lover Jay and on the 13th of February in the evening around 8pm, Nikki arrived according to her words and in disbelieve, Jay welcomed her home.
They were together although the night till the evening of the following day which was valentines day. Nikki gave all her attention to Jay during this period and she even had to switch off her phones at some point to avoid interruption.
Later that evening Nikki left for her parents house in Massaka, and they kept communicating. Trouble stroked when Jay was celebrating his birthday the following month and Nikki never called to congratulate him on his birthday despite been told. She later called two days after to apologise  but Jay was already feed up of her been sorry all the time. After awhile, Nikki was going for an audition
In Jabi Lake, her vehicle was involved in a ghastly motor accident and so many people died but God preserved the life of Nikki. She was wounded and had alot of scare on her face. She was rushed to the hospital for treatment and was later discharged. She then called Jay to explain how God spared her life, in disbelieve, Jay visited Nikki in her father’s house and met on the mother and the younger siblings at home. He gave some of the provisions he had bought for her to her and left.
Since then, for over 4 month, Nikki never called once but was busy uploading funny status of herself and her friends in school having fun which did not go down well with jay. This made Jay completely ignore Nikki but the precious memory of an irresistible angle of the first day won’t let go of Jays mind. Finally, he decided to confront Nikki on how bad she was in communication.
After he had said all, Nikki made him realise that no one is perfect anywhere in the world,  that she was only testing his endurance level and also trying to make Jay realise that communication was her Major problem.
It was there Jay knew he had failed an endurance test of Nikki, he apologised and both of them settled. It was after then Nikki stated calling, texting and chatting Jay the way he wanted. Nikki only taught Jay a lesson that dating a woman requires a lot of patience.
Nikki has since then taking the relationship beyond the level Jay would have think of. Nikki has since then assumed the Position of a mother to Jay. She has even invited Jay to come and make his marriage intentions towards her know to her parents.

1. Patience is the key in every relationship
2. Communication strengthens relationship
3. Don’t always judge people until you know them
4. Don’t be selfish in your thinking in a relationship
5. Don’t use your babe or guys WhatsApp status as a tool to judge.
6. Never forget where u both started from
